workshop

As a wood sculptor, the process of creating a new piece of art is both challenging and rewarding. It all starts with selecting the right wood for the project. Each type of wood has its own unique properties and characteristics, which will ultimately affect the final product.

Once I have chosen the perfect piece of wood, I begin by sketching out my design. This allows me to envision the final product and make any necessary adjustments before I start carving. From there, I carefully and meticulously begin to carve away at the wood, shaping it into the desired form.

Throughout the process, I must be patient and precise, paying close attention to the details of the piece. I use a variety of tools to create texture and depth, such as chisels, gouges, and sandpaper.

As I near completion, I take a step back to assess the piece and make any final touches. The end result is a beautiful and unique work of art, crafted with care and attention to detail. It's a rewarding process that never gets old.
